Sunflowers For Arborfield Green
In a time where we are not able to go to places as easily we want to make our community look bright and cheerful.
St Eligius Church are distributing sunflower seeds to many of the houses and would love to encourage you to plant sunflowers in your front gardens or pots on your balconies so that all can see them as they stroll around Arborfield Green.
When your flowers appear take pictures and upload them to our face book page.
How to Sow Your Seeds
Plant 2 seeds together 1.5cm deep., directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. Remove the weaker plant, which can be transplanted if desired. Water well until the young plants are established.
While you wait for your flower to grow why not make some sunflowers for your window to put next to your rainbows?
